WHO WE ARE
CSAF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves children and seniors of the community. We work from donations and the goodness of local volunteers and business partners.
The goal of CSAF is to work together with other community, state and federal organizations by partnering to serve those in need. Our mission is to ensure less fortunate children and seniors’ fundamental needs are met throughout the year. Ultimately helping them realize and fulfill God’s Plan for their lives. Hand in hand, we can serve our community together.

The inspiration for CSAF began back in 2001 when the Christmas for Kids program started. CSAF was founded in Cherokee County, Centre, Alabama by a group of Christian community leaders.
WHAT WE DO
CSAF has services separated into programs to better serve our clients. Each program is set up to meet needs based on our Mission. Please see our Programs section to get additional detail on these CSAF Programs.

Christmas for Kids Program
Works to create an atmosphere of joy for the children served and their parents or guardians. By signing up for CFK parents are ensured they have Christmas toys for their aged newborn to 15 year old children. Beginning in November CSAF begins accepting Applications for Christmas assistance and packing bags for pick up the Saturday before Christmas.

Crisis Assistance Program
Provides assistance to Seniors, Veterans and Widows by mowing yards, cleaning small homes, building wheelchair ramps and on occasion assisting with installation of appliances. This program also works with local Fire Departments to provide for families that have sustained loss from a fire.

CSAF Hygiene Program
Helps Seniors, Children, Homeless and our Community in general by providing needed hygiene product such as shampoo, body wash, deodorant, etc. There are 3 components to the Program; Senior hygiene needs, Community/Homeless hygiene needs and our School Hygiene Program.​
